John Gott Trophy

 

Trophy Rules:

1. Each Region of the Federation is invited to nominate a member (or in exceptional circumstances) members of the F.B.P.M.C to be considered for the JOHN GOTT TROPHY.

2. All Nominations for the JOHN GOTT TROPHY must be sent to the General Secretary F.B.P.M.C., accompanied by a written précis stating the Nominee/nominees name/names and a report supporting the nomination along with Seven copies not later than 31st January.

3. The Nomination should be awarded to the Member (or in exceptional circumstances) Members of an affiliated F.B.P.M.C. Club who in the Regions belief has furthered most the interests of the Federation and Police Motor Sport in general during the previous 12 months prior to 31st December.

4. The GENERAL SECRETARY F.B.P.M.C. will circulate copies of all Nominations to members of the Executive Council F.B.P.M.C. together with voting papers.

5. The Executive Council Member will record his/her vote for Nomination and return this to the Chairman F.B.P.M.C. prior to 1st March.

6. The Chairman F.B.P.M.C. will correllate all votes and will announce the winning Nomination at the General Council Meeting Annual Dinner Function. The name of the Nominated winner will remain Confidential to the Chairman until this Function.

7. In the event of a tie the Chairman F.B.P.M.C. will have a casting vote.

8. The winner will receive the JOHN GOTT TROPHY and a Replica.

9. The winner of the JOHN GOTT TROPHY will be responsible for its safe custody for ONE year. The holder shall return the Trophy to the General Secretary by 1st March prior to the General Council Meeting of the Federation or on request by the Federation.
