ELECTION OF OFFICERS
All National Officers shall hold office for one year and
shall be elected at the General Council Meeting . Regional Officers shall
be elected within their respective Regions annually and prior to the General
Council Meeting .
VOTING
In voting at the General Council meeting there shall be
one vote per Club. Votes shall be registered either by the Club delegate
present, in person, or by the delegate present who has been previously
authorised in writing to register a vote as proxy. The Chairman shall
have a casting vote on any matters.
No Vote may be taken
on any proposal at a G.C.M. unless written Notice of such proposal has
been served on the General Secretary not less than 28 days prior to the
date of that meeting except that the Chairman may allow a vote on a proposal
for the election of one or more officers of the Federation if failure
to allow such proposal would leave that office vacant .
At Regional Committee
Meetings there shall be one vote per delegate and the Chairman shall have
casting vote .
PUBLICATIONS
A magazine shall be produced at an interval decided upon
by the General Council Meeting. An Editor of the magazine shall be elected
to hold this office for one year.
AFFILIATION FEES
The affiliation Fee to the Federation, which shall include
the first yearıs Subscription, shall be fixed at the General Council Meeting
each year for the following year commencing 1st January .
FINANCE
The Treasurer shall be responsible to the Federation for the Federation Financial
Account. He shall present a statement of the Financial position at the General
Council Meeting.
An account shall be maintained
with a bank suitable to the treasurer and approved by the General Council.
All cheques shall bear the signature of the Treasurer and one other of two
persons nominated at the General Council Meeting . All sums over £10.00 shall
be paid by cheque . The accounts shall be audited annually by a person, elected
annually, by the General Council Meeting. No financial payments or financial
commitments shall be made on behalf of the Federation General Fund by any
person or Region without first consulting the Treasurer. Regional financial
accounts shall be subject to audit by a person nominated by the Region and
a certified copy forwarded to the General Council Meeting. Any loss incurred
on any event may be the subject of a claim on the General Funds of the Federation. The Police Athletic Association shall not have any financial responsibility
for the Federation.
COLOURS AND BADGES
The colours of the Federation shall be blue, silver and red . There shall
be a Federation Badge, facsimiles of which shall be available to members against
a deposit. The badge shall remain the property of the Federation.
EXTRAORDINARY MEETINGS
An Extraordinary Meeting of the General Council may be called by the President
or Chairman or General Secretary or on the written request of twenty five
members of the Federation . An Extraordinary Meeting of the Executive Committee
may be called by the President or Chairman or General secretary or on the
written request by twelve members, for the time being in office, as members
of the committee. An Extraordinary Meeting of a Regional Committee may be
called be the Chairman or on the written request of twelve of that Region.
